We believe mentorship is a vital source of support for individuals navigating mental health challenges, addiction, and difficult life transitions. At The Red House of Hope, mentorship is not about professional advancement, but about walking alongside individuals during seasons of recovery, healing, and rebuilding.
Our mentors are carefully selected and thoughtfully matched through a screening process that considers each individual’s needs, circumstances, and available supports. We cultivate a safe, supportive environment where individuals can find stability, encouragement, and hope as they work toward meaningful and lasting life change.
Our mentorship program is tailored to each individual we serve, with a focus on supporting those navigating mental health challenges, addiction, and difficult life transitions. When a mentee completes our online form, we carefully review their needs, current circumstances, and areas where support is most needed.
We then work to match each mentee with a mentor whose experience, training, and availability align with those needs. This intentional matching process helps create a supportive and trusting relationship, allowing mentorship to be personal, consistent, and effective.
We serve our community with empathy, compassion, hope and love.
How it works
As a faith-based nonprofit organization, our mentorship is grounded in the belief that hope, healing, and lasting change are rooted in faith. We recognize the importance of spiritual support alongside emotional and life-stability support, and mentorship is offered within a Christ-centered framework that respects each individual’s journey.
