CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

Building a Legacy of Hope

At the Red House of Hope, we are on a mission to create a sanctuary for healing and restoration through our Hope Restored Community Retreat Center. This space will serve as a beacon of hope for individuals and families in need of renewal, providing a place for recovery, growth, and support. We are inviting passionate and visionary supporters to join us as Legacy Builders, to leave a lasting impact by investing in this transformative project. With your help, we can pay off the retreat center and ensure it remains a haven for those seeking hope and healing for years to come.

By donating $100,000 or more, you not only help us reach our $500,000 goal but also have the unique opportunity to name a building in honor of a loved one. This lasting tribute is more than just a name – it’s a symbol of your commitment to creating a legacy of hope and compassion. Together, we can turn this vision into reality, building a future where the Hope Restored Community Retreat Center stands as a pillar of strength and renewal for generations to come.

Building a Legacy of Hope:

How to Help

We serve our community with empathy, compassion, hope and love.

Each day we strive to make a positive impact in our community by providing a tranquil space for healing, learning, and growing.

We are especially proud of our partnerships with other local ministries, allowing us to provide workshops, retreats and events that help people reconnect with their spirituality and each other.

We believe through our programs, we make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve which is why we invested in our retreat center.

Our space is designed to inspire and provide comfort acting as a sanctuary. As of autumn 2023, it is available for rent to individuals or groups who seek to use the space for their own retreats, workshops, events, and more.

  • Is this a place for people to come stay for extended periods of time?
Red House of Hope is a retreat center that hosts a variety of events such as mental health educational sessions, worship events, weekend mental health retreats, and more. Our space is designed to provide a peaceful and supportive environment for individuals and groups seeking personal growth, spiritual connection, and mental wellness. Additionally, long-term rentals are available, and the capital from these rentals is used to support our mission of providing accessible mental health resources. It's important to note that while our space is not used as a shelter, it can be utilized in emergency situations as needed.
  • Is RHH a building?
No, RHH is an organization without walls. We provide services that can be done without a building such as mentorship, attending community service events and holding educational events in local venues.
  • How do your mentees get referred to you?
The majority of our mentees come to us through word of mouth, as our supportive and compassionate approach has allowed us to develop a strong reputation within the community. Additionally, many of our mentees are now being referred to us by community service providers who are partnering with us to address addiction and mental health concerns. This collaboration allows us to reach individuals who may otherwise not have access to our services, and ensures that they receive the support and guidance they need.
  • Where does the funding for Red House of Hope come from?
Red House of Hope receives its funding from various sources, primarily from generous donors who believe in our mission to provide support and assistance to the community. We are also sponsored by several churches who share our vision and help us to continue our work. In addition, property rentals play a significant role in funding our services - when someone rents our property for an event, it directly supports the programs and resources we provide to the community. By utilizing these funding sources, we are able to maintain and expand our services to better serve the needs of those we aim to help.
  • What is the Red House of Hope Capital Campaign?
Great question. We are using the capital campaign to achieve several important objectives. Firstly, the funds will help us raise seed money for the purchase of our event and retreat center, which will greatly expand our capabilities to serve the community. Additionally, these funds will enable us to complete our mission and support capability growth, allowing us to reach even more individuals in need. Lastly, purchasing the retreat center will create a sustainable organization that does not depend solely on new donations to serve the community, ensuring our long-term impact and presence within the community.
  • Why do you need a retreat center?
Red House of Hope offers a variety of mental health events and retreats aimed at supporting individuals in their mental wellness journey. These include workshops on stress management, anxiety reduction, mindfulness practices, and building resilience. Our retreats focus on providing a peaceful and supportive environment for individuals to engage in therapeutic activities, group counseling, and relaxation exercises. These events and retreats are designed to foster a sense of community, promote healing, and provide valuable tools for coping with mental health challenges. Even though many of our services can be done without walls, having a safe space for people to come to mental health events and retreats offers a larger venue for us to continue our mission.
